PSIA is an academic competitive program that motivates students to find new excitement in learning, achieve a higher mastery level, and receive recognition/awards for academic excellence. There are numerous contests offered for grades 1 – 8. Students who perform at the top level in their district competition have the opportunity to compete at a state level.
This is a parent and teacher directed program volunteering as Academic coaches. If you would like to volunteer, please check with your child's teacher or our campus director, Ms. Wahlstrom (firstname.lastname@example.org)
More information regarding PSIA can be found at the home site.
As many of you know we are hosting PSIA again this year at our school. Many of our students have been working very hard in preparation for this event. As host school, we also have a great need for volunteers—without volunteers, we would not be able to host this event. I will be putting together a sign-up genius very soon, listing all the different volunteer positions. The positions will be for two-hour shifts. Some of the positions we need filled will be: hall monitors, Parent Room monitors, and runners. This is a great way to get a lot of your volunteers hours completed in one day.
Remember: Please keep an eye out for the volunteer sign-up genius for PSIA. If you have questions, please feel free to email Stephanie Wahlstrom @ email@example.com.
Thank you for continuing to help make St. Pius so great.
