After spending weeks learning about the bible, fifth grade students shared what they learned with the kindergarten and third graders. One student discovered the Latin words, imprimatur and nihil obstat which mean that a book is free from doctrinal and moral error. You should look for these words in any Catholic book you intend to buy. Another students said that teaching the 3rd graders was a lot of fun! We might have a future SPX teacher! The highlight of this unit was a visit by Seminarian John Le, who shared with the class how important the Bible was to him.
